I purchased this controller in order to play my computer games in a more traditional games console styled fashion. After looking around I decided to go with Microsoft's own gaming controller as I have used it many a time before and have always found it reliable.

The controller itself feels very sturdy and well built, which is something I like about the product. The weight on it is fairly light considering the components within the controller itself. When using the controller, the face buttons feel well spaced and whilst the analogue sticks feel well positioned and easy to rotate and at the same time being firm in a sense. The triggers on the controller feel natural and well shaped when the controller is used on a driving game or action / adventure shooting game for example. The vibration within the controller feels very sufficient in providing force feedback to the player and there are a vast amount of games that support the feature.

A recommendation I would make to use the controller on more older games that do not support a game controller is to download 2 applications; xPadder and Pinacle Game Profiler. Both of these applications supports the xbox 360 controller for windows and allows you to assign the keyboard keys and mouse to the controller buttons. Pinacle Game Profiler is better in a sense because there is a large community that provide files that can be downloaded and imported into the application, this then automatically maps the button layout to the controller so the user doesn't have to.

I would recommend this controller to anyone wanting to play pc games with a game controller as it is supported by a multitude of games and can have it's features expanded as well.
