Its simple, you need a controller to play xbox with and this is the default controller. You can find it in nearly any electronic store and it is very good, i have big hands and i can really grasp the controller allowing free movement and comfort. I can compare this to a PS3 controller and one fact is that you can get very clammy from a PS3 controller than an xbox one. I believe they all come in white, ive never seen another colour wired and they have a plus side that because it is wired there is no need for extra costs on batteries and no waiting to recharge a battery pack. The xbox guide buttton is very big so you dont have to dig you nail into some button like a reset button on a toy. In my opinon this is built for a right handed gamer, i mean ive seen my mate play and he's left but there is an option to change controller setups ingame which is always good. Your index fingers can rest on the LB and RB buttons allowing you to just add pressure to use them and finally the triggers. So long and big, its very unlikely you will miss them with you middle finger. And below are the pros and cons of the Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller..

->Lightweight desgin that you can hold for hours on end
->Comfortable to hold because of the way it is bulit meaning you will feel more relaxed and maybe better
->Finger placement has been thought of to allow the gamer to have freedom and to utilise reaction time together to improve the users gameplay even further
->Detachable wire meaning there's no pulling down the xbox from high places and no tripping over the wire as it SHOULD detach

---Cons---

->White,White,White....why so much white? it would be nice if the released a Black or maybe blue one..
