Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Analog sticks can sometimes rip
I was always a bit sceptical of the Xbox controllers as I used to think that they were big and bulky and had unnecessary buttons, but now I'm a massive fan of the design and the controller.
It's so comfortable to hold, and it fits in your hand perfectly to play games. The buttons are very strong and hold against all games, including those which demand button mashing techniques to be used. It's quite a good looking controller, with a nice choice of colours for the buttons. It also comes in a nice baby blue, and pink colour. It also obviously comes in black, which is the Elite version. The analog sticks are easier to use than most consoles and are easier to use in some games due to the style it gives you complete control. I sometimes find that the D-Pad can be a bit stiff, which also gives the analog stick an advantage. The guide button in the middle is something of an icon now, and is very useful for accessing the dashboard or turning off your console.
The battery life for the controller is pretty good, it lasts for quite a number of hours before needing charging or replacing.
Since using the controller, I have used the PS3 controller and it's just not the same. The analog stick is small and less comfortable and it's harder to use.
Overall, I would recommend the controller to everyone, even those who require one for games on Windows, as it would give them a massive advantage due to the unique design and style of the controller. I would give this controller a 5/5.
Summary: 5/5
