The beauty of the Wii controller is that it is designed to be operated by one hand only, the other hand is redundant, also because of its design it can be used in either hand with no differentin operformance, however for some games you need a second hand and as the Wii remote relies on movement some of the time to direct your playing character the device that you will use in the other hand has to not impact on the main device operation .
