As with the Wii remote this Nunchuck controller controls games played on the Nintendo Wii console. It is used actually plugged into the end of the Wii remote. I like this because there is no need to worry about batteries. The cord is long enough for comfortable gaming too.



To buy one of these separately would cost about 12 pounds on Amazon but you can bundle this with the Wii remote for about 30 pounds which is great for people buying their first Wii as these were extras when I bought my Wii two years ago. This was disappointing because any other console I had bought before actually included the controls!



They come in white but are also available in black. I havent actually seen anyone use the black model though. I think the white looks more classy! The numchuck fits nicely into the palm of your hand and has a joystick type contol on the top of it.



It reacts perfectly during use and I have never had any problems with games freezing or delaying. It is really sensitive and the analogue stick is really free and doesnt feel sticky like other joy sticks at all.



I have used it mainly to move around characters during gameplay. It takes a little bit of practice but its pretty straight forward. Even my mother can use it! Its really only used in more elaborate games but I would recommend buying it anyways.



I would recommend this to all Wii fans as it is needed to play the vast majority of Wii games out there and you simply wont have the full experience without it. Be warned though you could look a bit daft waving your arms about like a lunatic.
