Advantages: Can change the look with skins, cheap, durable, play a wider variety of games.

Disadvantages: -

When I first bought the Nintendo Wii a good few years ago now, it came with a game and two controllers. One of which was the Nunchuk!

The remote is ergonomically designed of smooth plastic and shaped to easily fit into the hand. It comes in the colours white and black - I'm not sure if pink, blue and red are available for the nunchuk but as you can get those colours for the main Wii remote.

There is a short-ish wire out the bottom of the contoller and at the end a plug that fits into the bottom of the remote that connects them together. The nunchuk can be used in many games like boxing, and other games that would need the use of both hands rather than just the one with the Wii remote.

There are only two buttons on the nunchuk, one is a square on the front of the control and the other a circle. On the top is a joystick that is mainly used for movement and is in just the right place for your thumb to reach when holding it correctly. The use of the buttons varies on what game you're playing, but on a few games the buttons aren't even needed.

If you think plain white or black are boring, you can buy skins for the controller. Whether it be different coloured ones or patterned ones, they are most likely cheaper to buy and have a lot more choice on e Bay or maybe Amazon, but they are also sold in all shops that you would find a Wii console, or the controllers for sale in.

I only own one nunchuk and that is what came with the Wii console when I bought it, but after looking around and thinking of buying another, the price varies a LOT depending on where you buy them from. It could be as little as 99p somewhere on e Bay, Amazon are selling them for about £5 I think and Sainsbury's £15.

I have dropped it many times while playing and it isn't hard when your waving your arms around everywhere playing the games, and it's still going strong. I don't really think there is anything bad about this product. Seen as though you should get one free when you buy you Nintendo Wii console, you have nothing to lose by giving it a go!

Summary: Worth giving it a try if you have a Wii Console!
