Advantages: Can play all the games for the Virtual Console, can be used for Gamecube games.

Disadvantages: The weird wire connecting to the bottom of the controller.

The Nintendo Wii Classic Controller is a game controller designed for some of the Wii's original games, however it is most suited for games that come from the "Virtual Console" feature. The controller itself feels rather comfortable, with the grip matching that for human hands. However, one essential thing you must do before even using this controller is to connect it with the original Nintendo Wii Remote Controller. In this sense, it is quite possibly a bad idea if the controller's wire comes from the bottom, which actually causes a little bit of an annoyance than people may think. The connection, however, is absolutely solid, seeing as the Classic Controller appears to play all of the games at my disposal. Now, a very interesting feature for this controller, seeing as it is designed to play games from different consoles for the Wii, including the predecessor (Gamecube), it can become a controller for just about all the games on the Gamecube. All and all, the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller is very decent for a controller, however few annoyances I still currently have with it. But, if you feel like buying it, only buy it if you feel like playing some of the Virtual Console games on there. Otherwise, don't try. However, if you do plan on getting some, then this will be perfect to play them on.
