The Wii classic controller is obviously different to others that have recently been brought out and also to the ones in the past.

What is the main difference? Well, it's the fact it can be moved around. This goal is well served by the strap that's provided as well as the buttons which are easily accessible on the controller. It is easy to use in that sense.

I think the main disadvantage however is when it comes to plugging the classic controller into the unclassic extra hardware control devices such as the wheel, or the instruments in rock band. For that purpose it can be awkward when in a hurry.

The rather odd shaped size does give it a certain awe of wonder and that supplies adequate assurance of the entertainment side of the Wii.

Overall thought, it is a refreshing way to control video games - and something which aptly fits the Wii's main goal, to be fun.
