Advantages: Easy to use, brilliant feedback on fitness, fun for playing games on

Disadvantages: Needs batteries that can wear fast, cant play with more than one board at a time

I purchased these several months ago as an incentive to help me mothe losoe weight. I had a look around online and got it with Wii Fit Plus for 75 euro which to me seemed a bit expensive but I had heard a lot of good things about this balance board so I knew we would have fun with it.

The balance board is white in colour and it is approx 20 x 12 inches in size. It can also take a weight up to 150kg so its very durable! It works as in just another controller for the Wii console and not only can you use this to improve your fitness with the Wii Fit game but it can also be used in other games too. We have We Ski and Snowboard game which is controlled with this balance board and its great fun!

The Wii Fit game which was included with my package is absolutely fantastic for those looking to keep fit. It tracks your progress daily through aerobic exercises and it can give you a lot of information about your body such as calories burned, BMI and your overall weight in easy to read layouts.

It needs 4 AA batteries to work and this can be a bit of a nuisance because at the start when we got this we needed to change the batteries after just 3 weeks! But since its novelty has worn off with a few we havent changed these since. You can buy a battery pack if you find youself running out of batteries. They state 4 AA batteries will last you 60 hours of gameplay so it all depends on how much you will be using it for.

There are so many different fitness games available for this but in my opinion Wii Fit is the best. It can be really addictive too! I think this device is an excellent way of keeping track of your fitness. It also makes for better gaming!

The only gripe I have with this is that you cant actually connect two Wii balance boards at the same time so you cant play two player at the same time with some games and this is a big disappointment in my opinion.

Summary: Nice novelty way to get fit
