The Nintendo Wii is very clever in that with many of the games comes added on accessories which you are likely to purchase to make game play more fun. The Wii Wheel is one of those items, but it does actually make the game feel more true to life.

The wheel is literally just a plastic steering wheel with a hole in the middle for you to insert your Wii remote. It works in the same way as a steering wheel would work, so you steer left and right etc. Initially it can be quite tricky to get the hang of it, but after a short time you will find yourself trying to play games on other driving games on other consoles by turning the remote....or perhaps that is just me!!!

The wheel works well but you do not physically need it to play MarioKart. You can just hold the remote and turn that, as you power the car by pressing a button on the actual Wii remote rather than the steering wheel etc. However, as I said it does make the game feel more fun and true to life.
