Advantages: fun and easy to use.

Disadvantages: None

Very soon after buying the Nintendo Wii console I brought the Mario Kart game. It used to be a big favourate on a previous Nintendo console we owned and I just knew that it would be even better on the Wii console, and I was right. It's a great game and loads of fun either playing alone or as a group.

The only trouble I have is that I am often playing against much better players than me and don't get much of a chance. The Mario Kart wheel has changed this a lot for me as I find it easier to control my movements because it's far more realistic than using a regular controller and pressing buttons.

The wheel is very straight forward and simple to operate. You simply plug the wii remote into the back and it clicks into place. Make sure the remote is swicthed on and you're ready to go.

To use you simply turn the wheel in the direction you want to go. You need to press the buttons to acelerate and brake but you are shown how to do this on the screen at the start of the game. There are of course more buttons and mroe options, but these are the basic commands.

I find it so much easier to use the wheel because it is simulating real driving and the fact that you have a steering wheel makes it easier to play and funnier to watch.

You don't have to have a wheel for the game, but it does make it a lot easier and funnier to play and watch and I would recommend it to everyone.

Summary: Everyone should have one
