Saitek Pro Flight Instrument Panel ... i should probably explain now that my friend owns a Gaming shop in maidstone and i had him have a look at my review s and he liked them so much hes going to let me take home some controllers/pherials so that i can test them out and write reviews on them. The Saitek Pro Flight Instrument Panel is probably one of the most interesting pieces of kit ive ever had for simulation games. Its great to spin your plane in MSflight simulator X and the the gauge sitting in front of your monitor spinning round. I was using this in conjunctiong with a saitek flight control set (review after this one) and found that the way you can combine them makes for a far more realistic flying... Saitek R660 Force Wheel ... i got this wheel yesterday and well what can i say. I ordered it from amazon.co.uk for 49.99 and that qualified for free delivery so that was great. When it arrived the Box was large and well padded to protect the wheel and pedals. When i first pulled the wheel out of the box it is very clear on where to plug everything plugs in to. The Set contains: - 1 Saitek R660 Force Feedback Wheel - 1 Set of Saitek real feel pedals - 1 AC adapter Build Quality This wheel is incredibly sturdy and made from very high quality plastic, although i don t want to make a false impression there as most people think of plastic being weak and nasty, this is the opposite. Saitek R220 Digital Wheel ... There are only 4 buttons on the steering wheel, which can be a bit limiting, as most games have more functions you might want to access while concentrating on driving. The pedals are easy to use. You may wonder how pedals could be difficult to use; but the last steering wheel I had didn t have a proper base for the pedals, so they ran away from you when you tried to push them down. The Saitek s pedals have no such problems, and are a excellent to use in comparison. The steering wheel (and pedals) are recognised automatically in windows XP, with no driver downloads/ cd installations required.
