Hi to all, i'm new to DooYoo and this is my first review! I hope this review helps you understand a bit more about the PS2 controller.

Right let's get started, i personally have lived with the PS1/PS2 console and controller for many years. After experimenting with other models such as the Xbox and the Gamecube controller i have found that the PS2 controller is by far the best.

As i am sure many of you have found the PS2 controller has a simple yet effective design which is why it is easy to use and very comfy. Many of my friends have been put off from other controllers like the Xbox because it is big and is rather more complicated than any other controller. Which is part of the reason why in my opinion the PS2 console has sold better.

The arrow buttons are simple but easy to use, it was desgined so that the left thumb has easy acess and doesn't have to stretch too far.

For those people who don't like the arrow buttons, there is the joystick. like the buttons it is designed to be used by the left thumb, the joystick is generally used by people who wish to have complet control over there character.

The circle, square, triangle and x buttons are normally used to control the character's actions during the game. They are original and easy to remember where they are, they are also in reach of the right thumb.

The R1, R2, L1, L2 buttons are generally used for minor actions during the game and they are in perfect position for you index fingers to press. The only critiscm i have is that sometimes they can pop out which is quite annoying.

Overall i think the PS2 controller is one of the best in the world and the main reason why the PS2 sells so well. The PS2 will carry on selling for years to come.
