After a bit of fiddling I found that it was a problem with the USB connector on the gamepad. Therefore I can no longer use it for the purpose of which I bought it but instead must use it a PS2 controller.

Hey there, A few months ago I bought the Trust Predator dual stick gamepad from amazon for £10. I used it for a few weeks on my laptop and it worked perfectly. The gamepad uses the great Playstation layout so anybody who owns a Playstation will be used to this.
