"Atlantis: The Lost Empire" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2001 by THQ. It is based on the Walt Disney animated film of the same name. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages. The story of this video game reflects the plot of the film. Evil sea monsters have seized control of a powerful crystal which can unlock supreme powers, and can be used for evil intentions. Well, I'm sorry to say I played this game for hours and could not find a single part that was fun or interesting. Maybe I'm not inside the intended age range, but I really can't imagine a young child enjoying this either. Sure the graphics and sound are there, and it looks familiar to the film. But come on do we really need yet another bad Disney platformer? It seems the only type of game Disney know how to make these days is the standard run and jump rubbish that we've seen 100 times before. Uninspired and highly derivative, this does not deserve your attention, there are far more worthy platformers out there. ... Read the complete review
