"Batman Begins" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2005 by EA Games. It is based on the popular "Batman" superhero franchise. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages.

The gameplay of this title keeps to the film of the same name. In it, the player follows the story of Batman's development from his parent's murder to his return to Gotham City in attempts of dealing with the rising criminal corruption which has enslaved the local government. In a typical platform adventure Batman will make use of a wide utility belt and do battle with a wide range of criminals in real time. Unfortunately for the player, the artificial intelligence implementation of the enemy is very simple to counter. The game boasts one obvious flaw in that any enemy, despite any level of perceived difficulty, can be eliminated through a series of continuous foot sweeps which makes the game exceptionally simple. This tactic can be applied to all enemies and allows for a very fast "rush" through the game's stages. The player is otherwise required to navigate various platform stages by jumping between ledges and exiting in tact.

The graphics are presented from a side scrolling view which focus clearly on Batman and his available arsenal. There are few solid implements including Batman's character design which is accurate to his characteristic attire, though the remainder of the visuals appear frequently looped and noticeably features numerous repeated objects including creates and boxes. While these do serve as necessary for gameplay they become an annoyance visually. Audio is through simple orchestra like compositions which seem to fit the movie atmosphere of the game well.

Overall, I would not recommend Batman Begins to prospective buyers. The noticeable gameplay flaw creates too simple of a play and this hinders the enjoyment factor.
