"Bomberman Tournament" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2001 by Activision. It is based on the long standing "Bomberman" video game series. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages. For one of the longest periods in video gaming history, the Bomberman series offers its players the same premise. Trapped within a small grid arena with numerous obstacles, the player must guide Bomberman to drop bombs and demolish areas of play to gain access to his opponents for further elimination. There is a strong element of strategy and timing in ...  Read the complete review

{~:INTRO:~} Its been nearly two months since the GBA was released and there has been a library of games let out on the streets. 14 to be accurate. I made sure I got my Gamboy Adavnce on one of the very first days it was out and now I have 5 games for it. The latest game which I added into my collection was a game called Bomberman Tournament. The game itself cost me £35 from HMV and I got it on the 10th August which was its release date. What made me part from my money was that it was said to be The Most Indepth Multi-Player experience yet on the Gameboy Advance. Add to this a Pokemon stlye catching creatures thing. There is also a Quest Mode which is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bomberman Tournament (GBA): Some great ideas but the end result isn't that good. (1643 words)

I've enjoyed bomberman games since I first played one on the SNES and so this game was an obvious choice when I was looking for a new Game Boy Advance game. While most of the fun from previous bomberman games has come from the multiplayer part of the game this version offered what should have been a great singleplayer game to go with it. Because the game has 2 distinct modes of play I'll split the opinion into 2 sections, one for the "Quest" part and one for the "Battle" part. --Quest-- The quest mode of the game is single-player only and should have been one of the best single-player games ever seen in a bomberman game. Unlike ...  Read the complete review

I remember when i got Bomber Man for my Snes. I thought it was the best game ever at the time and i had so much fun playing it. I would sit for hours playing it. The idea is if you are playing battle mode, you play against three opponents trying to blow each other up. If you play quest mode you play through rounds blowing the computer up. Here is Bomberman Tournament for the Gameboy Advance which ive been playing. The game is made by Hudson and can be played by up to four players. There is two types of game in this game. The first being the Battle Mode. The idea is to lay bombs and try to blow your enemies up. Theres various arenas to play such as the full ...  Read the complete review

Bomberman Tournament Game: Bameberman Max went missing in search of an evil force but he went missing so it’s the job of bemeberman to got and rescue him. But whilst he searches for him some meteors fall down from the sky, Is this related to the disappearance of Bomberman Max…I think so!! This game follows the typical story line of any game…Girl goes missing….Bomberman goes to save to save the day…Bomberman gets the girl…but the only problem with this is the girl is switched with Bomberman Max. This brings the question is Bomberman gay or does he have nothing better to do. Gameplay: The game is played in a ...  Read the complete review
