{~:INTRO:~}
Its been nearly two months since the GBA was released and there has been a library of games let out on the streets. 14 to be accurate. I made sure I got my Gamboy Adavnce on one of the very first days it was out and now I have 5 games for it. The latest game which I added into my collection was a game called Bomberman Tournament.

The game itself cost me £35 from HMV and I got it on the 10th August which was its release date. What made me part from my money was that it was said to be The Most Indepth Multi-Player experience yet on the Gameboy Advance. Add to this a Pokemon stlye catching creatures thing. There is also a Quest Mode which is rather tedious but I will go into these later.

{~:GAMEPLAY:~}
Wow, I bet all of you think that the best thing in life is blowing things up....well your right. The game is based around you blowing things up and collecting anything that gets left behind. Even when you can see an enemy coming round the corner what you do is place a bomb and run. There are even some special bombs for Bomberman to get is hands on. These include Mines and remote controlled bombs. I bet you are thinking that, that could get a bit boring so the nice people at Hudson have added a couple of other little tweaks to the game.

Karabons
Through the Quest you can train 40 of these little creatures. You start of be rescuing one called Pommy and you train them up by debris left from blowing up rocks or grass. When you blow up a piece of rock or grass most of the times a little symbol gets left behind. These Symbols can be one of the following. Sword = Increases fighting value of you Karabon.
Shield = Increases defensive value of your Karabon. Star = Increases special attack value of your Karabon. These Karabons look very could and have nothing in common with pokemon they all look really good and look like there from a cartoon. The Karabon battles are really cool and they have there bouts in
a boxing ring. You decide on a strategy at the start from 6 set strategy. These strategies are:

Punch-Block = Attack, Defend, Special
Kwik Punch = Attack, Special, Defend
Defence 1st = Defend, Attack, Special
Nice End = Defend, Special, Attack
Show Time = Special, Attack, Defend
Technique = Special. Defend, Attack

Multiplayer
I have not yet been able to find anyone to play multiplayer with yet as I have only had the game a few days but if it is anything like the battle mode this game will rock. You can link up to four Gameboy Advances togther with just one cartridge of Bomberman Tournament. This means that I could just walk up to any one with a Gameboy Advance and ask them to play.

The only down side is that I wish you could battle the Karabons which you have caught. My favourite Karabon is my maxed out P.Sea.

{~:STORY:~}
I have mixed emotions with this story as it is rathrer long an tedious but its still good as it will keep you coming back for more. All of my other Gameboy Advance games have been easy to complete especially Konami Krazy Racers. This game will be a battle to complete and is well worth the money. In this version of Bomberman, Bomberman has to save is friend Max from the last Bomberman which was only a USA release. Max got lost and captured on a weird planet and Bomberman has been assigned to save him.

{~:SOUND:~}
Can you all remember the days of Pokemon Red and Blue where a that tune kept on repeating in your head over and over again. And when you went out to go and shop you would end up Humming with it well....Bomberman is no exception. The Music selection ranges from from fast beat songs and slow beat songs. But if the Music is really that bad all you have to do is turn it down and put on your favourite CD...Simple.

{~:GRAPHICS:~}
Well Bomberman does not really stretch the Gameboy Advance to the limit but the graphics are still cool. The colours
are bright in the villages but outside in the battle lands there mainly grey, orange and green. The graphics could have been so, so much better but unfortunately they weren’t. But this is just a minor hitch but it does not get in the way of the excellent gameplay.

So.....
Get this game, The graphics and sound are average but the gameplay is supreme and so is the mulitplayer.
