"Classic NES Series: Donkey Kong" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2004 by Nintendo. It is a part of the "Classic NES" series which ports popular Nintendo Entertainment System titles to the Gameboy Advance. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages. The story of this title features Super Mario on a quest to save one of his many girlfriends who seem to vanish in more modern video game releases. Donkey Kong is an arcade game where, as Mario, you negotiate platforms whilst dodging obstacles to save the damsel-in-distress Pauline. I guess it's not Super Mario, since, should he fall from a great height then he loses a life (actually, he's known as Jumpman here). The NES version is not arcade perfect - it was missing one of the four stages (the cement factory level), but that's perhaps forgiveable given the console's limitations then. This NES version can actually be found in Animal Crossing for the GameCube, yet the N64 game Donkey Kong 64 features what must be a pretty accurate port of the arcade game.
