... The graphics are otherwise comparable with the original computer, presented from a first person perspective and features simple detailing in the maps and often pixelated appearing enemies. The soundtrack is also taken directly from the computer game and features simple .MIDI musical scores with numerous bass tones and simple gunshot sound effects accenting each weapon. Overall, I would recommend Doom to prospective buyers. As a fan of the original title it is pleasing to have it in a more modern and accessible form, an...more

"Doom" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2001 by Activision. It is a remastered version of the popular game originally seen on the personal computer. How many people amoung you have longed for the ability to play ID software's classic shooter anywhere you wished. I personally have wished for that ever since the original gameboy was released. Well, believe it or not it has finally happened. You can now blast demons wherever you are! However, is this version something blindingly original and spellbinding, or simply a sham of the DOOM name. Read on... Doom is so old now that there is no-body out there who hasn't heard of it. Just for the select 1 or 2, DOOM is the farther of all classic FPS games. You play a lone space marine, trapped on a army installation on the martian moon of Phobos. It's ...  Read the complete review
