F-Zero on the Game Boy Advance in another incarnation of the popular original F-Zero game that appeared during the start of the Super Nintendo life. This was by far the best futuristic racing game ever, maybe even the best racing game ever.

F-Zero was the beginning of the games that we have all seen that involve futuristic racing with crafts at break neck speeds. This recently copied by Wipeout, but of course that never appeared on the SNES, and is a game the Gameboy Advance couldn’t manage, technically.

F-Zero was a futuristic hovercraft type of racing game. It’s one in which you can race very fast, and I mean very fast crafts round a bendy track. There has been recent sequels on the Nintendo 64, notably F-Zero X but the original was always best, what isn’t.

So F-Zero on GBA is more of the same. A few new tracks and cars give the player more and more of the same. But as F-Zero was a benchmark game, more of the same makes this a brilliant addition to your GBA archive, and is great classic addition.

SUMMARY.

One of the best racing games on the SNES, second only to Mario Kart, so what better to be able to enjoy it handheld style. Brilliant racing title, that will get cheaper all the time, well actually it’s worth the money.

P.S

Currently available in the GAME spring sale for £14.99, BRILLIANT

I think Pokemon kept them alive Ophelia. I've never really seen the attraction in Gameboys personally, too much squinting and not enough gameplay for the price - but each to their own :o)
