The popular Super Nintendo, Sega CD, Wii and Arcade fighting game comes to the Gameboy Advance and Capcom did a good job porting their classic to a new generation of gamers; good but not great. The game starts out with the new Mayor in his office and instead of sitting on his butt like every other Mayor does this guy promises big changes and his first thing on the agenda is to clean up the city. Mayor Hagger should know something about beating up on scum bags because he is a big 6.6 foot muscle head and a former Street Fighter champion (think Jesse Ventura or Arnold Schwarzenegger). Unfortunately, Madgear: the city's toughest gang isn't ready to give up yet ... Read the complete review

"Final Fight One" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2001 by Capcom. It is a side scrolling game based on an earlier Super Nintendo game. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages. The storyline of this title takes place in fictional Metro City. The mayor's daughter has been kidnapped by a gang of thugs and it is up to the player's character to rescue her. The game handles very similarly to the Nintendo Entertainment System's "Double Dragon" but Final Fight One allows confrontation between numerous enemies instead of one. Players ... When Capcom released Final Fight for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in the Early 90s, it was seen as a major score on Nintendo's part in their battle with Sega, however, after the initial buzz of getting to play the arcade hit in your home hit, gamers realised that this was a far from perfect representation of one of the most famous and loved Beat 'em Ups ever. First of all, the 2-Player aspect of the game was removed, instantly denting the game's value, but the fact that a character, Guy, was removed, as was a level, further dampened the game's reputation. But something else came to light that further smacked the game up. In the arcade version, there were two ... Read the complete review

If there is ONE game you get this month for the Gameboy advance make it Final Fight One. The arcade port is almost perfect only loosing little effects like the flickering lights in the first level. One thing lacking from some of th other ports like Rayman was the lack of 'fun' and 'playability the game had. To tell it like it is Final Fight is awsome! Old fans of Streets of Rage will love this game, as will anyone else looking for a gba game to pass the time. You start off with three characters - Haggar, Cody and Guy, each of them has their own special abilities. Haggar is strong and has good throws, Cody is average but has the ability to hold a ... A distant relative to Street Fighter II, Capcom's Final Fight was a smash hit in the arcades and one of my favourite beat 'em ups. It was great to see it come back to the home consoles, even better to hear it would be playable on the move in a new, enhanced version - Final Fight One. You can now play as all three original characters (Guy, Cody and Haggar), and all the levels and bosses are in their right places and are ready to kick the hell out of you. If you want a storyline, go on and make it up. Go on. I guarantee anything will be better than the "kidnapped girlfriend" wackness we've got going on here. In reality, Haggar (who is the Mayor of ...
