"Fire Pro Wrestling" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2001 by Bam Entertainment. It is a sports based game with professional wrestling being represented. In the United States, the game received a rating of "T" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for teenage years and above due to its violent content. Fire Pro Wrestling is one of the longest standing names in professional wrestling releases in Japan. It is heavily strategic in nature as opposed to being a traditional fighting game as stamina plays a crucial role to gameplay. Fire Pro Wrestling A for the Gameboy Advance is the latest installment of the Fire Pro Wrestling games which have been released on almost every games system since the SNES. Fire Pro is a unique game in that it features the wrestlers from real promotion around the world, yet it is not affiliated with any of them! How do they use the trademarked names then you ask? So the folks at BAM decided to take chance and create a game, which has not really been explored in the British market, and created a wrestling game about the Japanese federations. The Japanese are known in the wrestling world as some of the craziest in the ...  Read the complete review

It's time to unlearn what you already know (not difficult for some people) and step up to Fire Pro Wrestling. For the first time in it's run, an American publisher has picked up what's been acclaimed as the best and most true-to-life wrestling franchise in gaming. But is this series, which stresses technical skills over flash and button-mashing frenzy, almost overkill for the average gamer ? Will gamers adjust to its unique style of play before giving up ? Features Caged octagon Ultimate Fighting bouts, plus six other modes; Over 200 pre-made wrestlers versed in Jujitsu, Kick Boxing, Luchador, and other wrestling styles; ...  Read the complete review
