... any of the old gradius games, it's more of a merging together of the best parts from gradius 2, 3 and 4. The graphics are new for the GBA, but follow very closely to the series, and the best levels are taken from 2 3 and 4. This game is very long, and very difficult to master. You will need to master the gameply before you are able to finish it. Don't worry though, as the gameplay is great and easy to pick up. Fans of the series will already know all the basics and should hopefully remember the levels...more

This is a Gameboy advance version of Gradius, a classic arcade game from yesteryear. Set in deep space, you pilot a small space fighter against a seemingly endless hoarde of enemy ships. You pick up energy pods along the way which you can use for speedups, extra weapons and sheilds. It would be wrong to call this a conversion of any of the old gradius games, it's more of a merging together of the best parts from gradius 2, 3 and 4.
