GT Advance 2 is basically the same sort of thing as GT advance 1 - you have to come in the top three at eh end of each race in order to qualify for the next world. Unfortuantly, though the tracks are short and you will find that you are wizzing through the tracks in no time at all. The laps are short and the drivers offer no compertition - they just move out of the way to let you pass- - pathetic, I hear you say! I must admit I am not a big fan of GT racing games, but when my friend lent me his GBA and a copy of this game on import I was quite impressed! The graphics are superb for a handheld console! However, I did find at times that you get the feeling that the road graphic is moving rather than the car itself.. (yes i know that IS what is happening, but good games should hide this fact!) Controls were responsive and each of the many cars handled themselves differently - I always went for the super speedy models....handling kinda went through the window!! The sound was not bad..... but I wouldn't advise you to play the game with earphones on... it'll ...

GT Advance is one of two ‘realistic’ driving games available on the UK release of Gameboy Advance, and has been much hyped as the hand-held console’s answer to “Gran Turismo”. These sort of accolades are difficult to ignore, and so I selected GT Advance as my first game purchase for my shiny new GBA. I was not disappointed. You might imagine that comparisons with Gran Turismo are over-stated, but the reality is not far behind. Graphically this game is absolutely stunning, and much beyond what I had imagined GBA to be capable of. It is certainly much superior to “F-Zero”: the only other GBA game I have played so far. ...
