Advantages: good graphics
Disadvantages: too easy, made for young audience
I’m sure (unless you have been asleep for the past few years) you would’ve heard of a boy called Harry Potter. His books are a great success throughout the world and merchandise is every where, so like every human being I was awaiting the Harry Potter game with great anticipation. On first sight it looks like a very decent game. Good graphics, intressting charaters but on closer inspection it is a very disappointing. Strange controls, limited area and repeatative scenarios are the only thing this game has. I was especially looking forward to flying on a broomstick personnly I could think of nothing better than soaring threw the sky, but sadly they managed to completely muck this up. When you launch up into the air on your broom you find you are confined to a very small area, every where you turn is a dead end. The controls I found are paticually difficult to master I just could’nt get the hang of them. Harry as we all know is a wizard in training and spells would be the main part of the game I would’ve thought, but no. Only spells to open doors and spells to make pots hover will be the thing you’ll get, nothing exciting a tall like a spell that can hurt someone or make their limbs stick together (as in the book). The game I feel trys to be like the great Zelda series but falls awfully. With the Zelda games you have a whole world to discover, monsters to slay and people to meet, but with this game you are told where to go you do not have a choice. There is no where to explore no items to collect you just potter threw the lessons and fly around on the minute Quidditch field. The biggest joke of all is fighting the all powerful Voldermolt. To disstroy this evil soul all you must do is run around the room like a headless chicken and wait of him to break all of the walls supporting the room and so you have defeated Voldermort (or rarther he has defeated himself). This game will take any decent gamer about a da
y to complete, but if you ask me don’t bother you recive nothing when you defeat Voldermort and nothing much exciting happens during the game. This game is more for very young children as tells you exactly where to go in the game and what to do, it needs no skill a tall. Hopfully the next Harry Potter game will be better!
