Harvest moon: friends of mineral town is an open ended farming game in which you play as a young man who inherits a farm from an old man he met during his childhood.

The game starts out explaining how the farm comes into your hands and after a short, simple tutorial, guiding you around the farm, it's all yours to explore and make your own.

Money making in harvest moon is simple, players can grow crops on the designated area of land in the farm buy buying seeds from the local store at the village. Other than this, players can keep animals from which they can sell their milk, wool, and eggs. Around the village, players can pick fruit which can also be sold. As you progress further in the game, you will come across more ways of making money from the resources around the village.

The money earned can be put towards expanding your home, buying kitchen utensils for cooking products such as mayonnaise which can also be sold.

The game also features likable characters which players get to know as the game progresses. Throughout the game, events take place in which players get to socialise with the other characters in the game.

Overall, harvest moon is a excellent but often repetitive game which is well suited to those who enjoy playing strategy games. If you like animal crossing and this sims, harvest moon might be the game for you.
