Disadvantages: 34quid!
At last a decent baseball game on the handheld console! Only released 3 weeks ago its hot in more ways than one. The game is basically BASEBALL, if you dont like or understand baseball then dont run away in panic. This game will introduce you to all things to do with the game. Its similar to cricket but more exciting and faster paced. I will not bore you about the different rules involved in baseball but heres an outline of the games features.. Play a season, with ANY MLB team. Yes you can play and manage your team through a full season and try and reach the playoffs and world series. This takes lots of games and most prob weeks to achieve, but the game has 5 slots on it.. Single game, can be played at any of the MLB (Mjor league baseball) grounds. This is a fun mode where u play for fun. Practice, both batting and pitching. Here you can learn the 12 different types of pitches and the many forms of hitting a ball around the park. (Good for learning the game). Homer mode, here you compete against the worlds best batting players and try and get more home runs than them. The game has many great features that enable the begginer to pick it up and start playing. For example having auto fielding on helps! auto running for the batting team, different modes of difficulty, the list goes on and on.. The sound effects are great, real voices of the players and umpires add to the atmosphere. The graphics are crisp and very detailed, no suprising for the GBA. It is also very smooth, when u hit the ball its glides across the screen and not jerky like some other GB games from the past. If you want a sports game that involves alot of skill and long learning curve go for this game. Dont be put off by the mear fact its an american sport, we wont hold that against you.
