Thus the goal is to get to the top by jumping through such available spaces. There are enemies on the patrol whom will fix the holes in the floor, but with your hammer you can sort them out. Take too long on a level, and the polar bear will come to get you.

Had it not been for the inclusion of the playable characters Popo and Nana in Super Smash Bros. Melee, the Game Boy Advance, and then the Wii Virtual Console, would not have seen to another release of Ice Climber. On the Game Boy Advance, the game comes under NES Classics - though the series was short-lived, I didn't mind the release of NES games to the GBA (since the NES was such a kick-ass console), but to suggest Ice Climber was a classic?
