"Konami Krazy Racers" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2001 by Konami. It is a racing game based on go-karts. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages. The gameplay of this title reflects a standard racing release. In it, players select from an assortment of characters from Konami's game series including "Castlevania", "Gradius" and "Metal Gear Solid". The objective of the game is complete Grand Prix style tournaments and achieving accolades by the way of trophies. While this may sound like an average racing title, ... Read the complete review

{:-Intro-:} I have to open on this line Konami Krazy Racers is a Mario Kart clone, but how ever an extremly good Mario Kart clone indeed. Mario has dominated the Go-Karting scene for years now and Konami Krazy Racers has finally broken it as no one else has tried to take on Nintendo. The game itself plays just the same has a Mario Kart game but with the Characters from Konami games. The ones you would most know are the Ninga from Metal gear solid and the Dracula from Castlevania. Wow I hear you all say. {:-Graphics-:} Wow these graphics are mind blowing for such a small machine, you can now see why the Gameboy Advance was compared with the ... Read the complete review

I played the japanese version of this title "Wai Wai racing" and I was amazed at how good it was! The introduction screen had cool music -with vocals!! singing "WAI WAI RACING !!" There are various modes of play - Grand Prix, Time Trial, a strange bomb-toting version of tag and a funny "drive as fast as you can, but stop after 400m, or you fall in water" game.. The powerups and weapons are hilarious in this game. There are the standard rocket boosters, missile, triple missile, bomb, moles who dig into the floor, strange spells that turn everyone but you into pigs, and a "ghost" powerup - you can drive through people. ... Konami Krazy Racers Game: This game is all about wining racers in your Go-Kart. You take the role of 1 of several wacky characters these include the Cyborg from Metal Gear Solid and the Dracula from Castlevania. Some of the characters though are new to use all as most Konami games are only released in America and Japan. The game is very like Mario Kart and I personally think it would be better if Mario Kart did not have any predecessors. Gameplay: Its like any Karting game, there are plenty of tracks and Karts and many different ways to play the game. There are 4 main areas for the game these are Krazy GP, Free Run, Time Attack and battle ... Read the complete review

This title oozes fun right from the word go in straight to the point racing action. Think Mario Kart with Konami characters and you can't go far wrong. This title is very polished, sounds great and really shows off the GBA's power. Using Mode-7 3d, much like F-Zero, this game looks fantastic. Okay, so it may not be super-smooth - but it definitely looks sharp and fun. The usual icy, tropical and space-themed tracks are here and they look very cartoony with wacky colours and superb effects. The gameplay is very good, if a little short lived. But all things summed-up, this title is aching for Mario Kart's crown. Too bad that MK is set to be ... Read the complete review
