Advantages: Top Playability, Long Life, Sweet Graphics

Disadvantages: Damn annoying when you come last :-(

To put things straight, MarioKart SC is one of if not the best game avaiable on the GBA at this moment in time!

I bought this game thinking it would be a pretty basic port of the old snes MarioKart (like Mario World) but it is infinitely better.

Not only does it have 20 standard tracks in 5 cups to play on, once you have completed those you have access to the special cup with another 4 tracks, and then, if you collect over 100 coins on each cup you get the original cup tracks from the old snes game!

Confusing as that may sounds, it basically means... LOADS OF TRACKS!!

There are the standard 3 levels of play as anyone who played the snes version will know 50cc being easy, 100cc being medium and 150cc being mega tough! I'm still getting my ass kicked on the 150cc and i've been playin it for a good few months now.

Then there is the time trial mode were you can spend countless hours trying to beat the computers and your own times.

All this would be a top game alone but this is one game that really takes advantage of the GBA's linkup system. Remember the battle modes on the snes?? Think of those but with loads more options and tracks, and you only need one game pack! Brilliant!

I highly recommend this game to anyone. It is a top notch racing game with excellent playability, a long shelf life (infinitely long if you enjoy kickin ass on the link up hehehe) and the graphics are stunning, you would never know it was on a handheld if it wasn't in your hand... errr..... i think??

Anyway, enough said, what else is there to say except... go and buy it!
