Metroid Fusion (GBA):
... Metroid fans to be the best game in the series (incidentally, the awesome Virtual Console is a way for me to catch up on the many classics I missed, but that s a story for another day). However, with the launch of the powerful handheld called the GameBoy Advance, Nintendo was given an opportunity to open up the "genre", if you will, that was defined by 2D Metroid titles. And, therefore, we GBA owners ... Read the full review: I'll take quality over quantity any day of the week by Hydromancer |

Mario Kart Super Circuit (GBA) ... review of Mario Kart Super Circut primarily based on a single-player experience.* The first Mario Kart game not to be developed by Nintendo themselves, with Intelligent Systems taking on the task. Mixing elements from Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 but getting the balance about right. THUMBS-UP: Newcomer and veterans of Mario Kart are welcome to the racing, and the handling comes close to that of Super Mario Kart rather than Mario Kart 64 (a good thing). Controls suited to the Game Boy Advance. Graphics are good and the music is sound (ahem). Eight characters to choose from, including Toad and Peach. Plenty of circuits to race on, and not a single bad track. ... Read the full review: Have I Toad You About This Peach Of A Game by scream4bruce |

Fire Emblem (GBA) ... Emblem offers an absolutely amazing, unforgettable game play experience. Everything about the game is compelling and fun, and keeps you begging for more; one very well-done aspect of the game is the plot. Many RPGs are known for their excellent plots, and Fire Emblem certainly doesn t disappoint. The storyline is predictable at first, but soon grows far deeper as you progress through the game. One of the most memorable and enjoyable aspects of Fire Emblem is the fantastic characters. Each character is given a distinct personality, and is d... Read the full review: Quite possibly the BEST GBA game ever created by Hydromancer |

F-Zero: GP Legend (GBA) ... note that my review and rating does not take into account the link-up aspect of this game.* Based on and featuring many characters from the TV anime series; in 2051 whilst on duty detective Rick Wheeler suffered an injury and was put into cryogenic sleep. 150 years later he is revived. Still hazy about the past, when he realises Zoda - the criminal mastermind behind his accident - has also been revived and is again up to no good, he takes the fight to his old nemesis. VISUAL There s not much to show when it comes to the animation, with the majority of vehicles not having mobile aerodynamic parts. The backgrounds are also basic - no parallax scrolling, and many...
