"Petz Vet" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2007 by Ubsioft. It is a virtual pet game with the player acting as a veterinarian. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages.

In this title, players assume the role of a female veterinarian and tends to the needs of sick and injured animals. While this may sound like an engaging plot there is actually very little depth to the game. Frantic owners will come in with their pets and request assistance. From there, the player will decide if the animal should remain under supervision for treatment by presumably nurses or receive antibiotics and go home. The player will tend to the needs of two animals before going home and resting for the night to repeat the same process the next day. It is a very easy title overall and offers no considerable challenge to the player due to its general repetitiveness. The game does serve as a strong factual guide to common pet ailments, though, as the realism factor in the game is high; for example the pet owner will inform of their cat's open mouth breathing which suggests the cat is having an asthma attack.

The graphics are presented from a top down perspective and are two dimensional in their design. The game heavily relies on text and when a customer comes in to speak with the player, a close up of the face with static mouth movements suggesting speech will appear next to a speech bubble. This does present a good visual effect as all of the faces are different in their implementation. The soundtrack is, however, highly repetitive as there is only one musical score and a series of menu beeps following the player throughout.

Overall, I would be hesitant about recommending Petz Vet to prospective buyers. It is a highly repetitive gameplay experience which can become quite a bore in a short period of time.
