I bought this game shortly after I played the Pokemon Ruby game. Not because I loved the game so much, but because I really liked pinball and for some reason I didn't happen to own a pinball machine. Besides, it was an era when Pokemon were still verging on the "cool". So I got Pokemon Pinball - Ruby and Sapphire to satisfy both my want to play some pinball whenever I wanted, and for the sake of it being Pokemon, because I still liked the franchise at the time. Pokemon : Pinball Ruby and Sapphire is a spinoff game form the pokemon franchise for GBA. The GBA format means it can be played on GBA, SP, DS and DS Lite. There are two boards to choose to play on, I personally think Sapphire is the easier one and I prefer it. The game is of course a pinball style game in which the ball is a pokeball. Using the flippers to keep the ball in play you must hit certain targets to initiate capture mode, evolve pokemon and enter bonus stages.
