Advantages: is just a great play

Disadvantages: a bit easy perhaps

If i am not mistaken this game used to be on the snes or super nintendo.

Anyway this game cartridge actually has two game in it firstly it has the game in the title Yoshi's island in which you play through 6 zones as different colored Yoshi dinosaurs which have cut little boots and a saddle for baby Mario to sit on.

The story goes as follows, a stork is carrying two babies but bumps into an enemy dropping the babies (Mario and Luigi). The Yoshi's find Mario and are determined to bring him and his brother to their rightful parents.

the game is quite an addictive one with its colorful graphics and levels as well as catchy theme tunes.

There is nothing objectionable and gamers of all ages can play it as the controls are easy to get to grips with, although the difficulty level does increase the further you go into the game.

To open special secret levels and bonuses you need to finish each level with 100 points which means with all your stars and with all the red coins in the levels found.

Bonus levels are great for using in game items and extra lives.

The second game is from super mario brothers 3, you are in a 2D one roomed dungeon and in order to progress to the next level you have to hit the platform beneath the enemies at that level and kick them by running at them, again it is easy to get to grips with and really fun and addictive to play although it does get harder as you progress.

I loved both these games when i was a kid and still love playing them today, they dont make games like this anymore.

Summary: a great play
