As you may guess I'm terrible at thinking up titles for my opinions, I think in future I'm just going to pick a random sentence out of the book/film/instruction manual (although this may end up leading to titles such as "It hasn't snowed up here for months." or "Press A to jump."). Hmm... I guess I should talk about the game now anyway... Just about every new console Nintendo has launched has been released with a new Mario game, the NES had Super Mario Bros, the SNES had Super Mario World, the Game Boy had Super Mario Land, the N64 had Super Mario 64 and the Game Boy Advance has now got Super Mario Advance, unfortunately however ... Nintendo – what a company. Through all these years of just one official mascot, the games they make of this particular mascot are still going stronger than any other game right now (with rivals Sonic the Hedgehog and Lara Croft), and he just so happens to be a small American (with an Italian accent) plumber with red dungarees called Mario. The games Nintendo have made out of this Mario have been very good for bringing back good memories, if you have a low IQ and like games, well here it is: ___---===Nintendo History===---___ Donkey Kong: Mario’s pet (who is 4 times bigger and probably stronger) has kidnapped the princess for no ... Super Mario Advance is a platforming adventure for the Gameboy Advance. The games story is very basic as with the other Mario games, there is an evil Toad called Wart who is terrorizing the land of dreams which may or may not be real and Mario and his friends must journey through the world and defeat the giant toad king! Ah well, at least Peach doesn't need rescuing in this one! The gameplay is actually quite different to the other classic Mario titles, for a start you can now pick the character you want to play as before entering a level. You can pick from Mario who is the all round guy with good strength and speed and jumps well, Toad who is ... Read the complete review

I was a bit hesistant about buying this, seeing as it's a remake of a game I've owned for about ninety years (or thereabouts), but I shouldn't have worried. I've been playing it as my handheld game of choice for a couple of weeks now and I'm still enjoying it. All the quality and charm of the original NES adventure Super Mario Bros 2 is present and correct, and like all of the original Mario games, time has been kind to it. It's still as fun as it was in 1983 (Pointless Fact: It's as old as me!) To add extra sweetness to the mix though, the game has been tweaked and adapted to fit its new home on the Gameboy Advance, so we're now treated to new extra large enemies, ... It would have seemed unbelievable nine years ago to think that the Super Nintendo racing classic Super Mario Kart would ever appear on a handheld. However, to prove any sceptics wrong, Mario Kart Super Circuit has been released on the Game Boy Advance and, amazingly, is even better than the original SNES game. Before the racing gets under way, you first have to make selections from the snappy intro screens. After choosing a player, you have to decide upon the Kart's engine size and also the track and tournament to race in. Along with the famous plumber, seven other familiar Nintendo characters can be chosen from, each offering various skills and driving ... Read the complete review
