Despite not hearing great things about this game, I purchased it mainly out of giddy excitement that there was a King of Fighters game on sale in the UK, one that wasnt an import, and had actually been put out officially. The game is an all new King of Fighters title, made specifically for the GBA, and featuring a new character that it doesnt look likely will ever appear on the Neo Geo King of Fighters games. The first thing that strikes you when you play the game is how much, for an 'original' game, it resembles King of Fighters 99 (aka King of Fighters: Evolution).
