"Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf" is a video game released for the Gameboy Advance console in 2002 by Ubisoft. It is a sports game with golf being represented. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages.

The gameplay of this title occurs at one course known as The Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass. Here, the player will compete in a game of golf using the traditional "three click method". First, the player must press the "A" button to initiate the swing and press "A" to select an appropriate level of power as a dot scross to the left of a metre. Then, as the dot changes direction and comes back to the right, the player must once again press "A" to determine the centring of the shot as it approaches a yellow area on the gauge. It is the player's objective to compete against computer opponents with aims of having the lowest possible score, with each swing of the club representing one point. What hinders this game for me is the fact that it only features the one 18 hole course. Many other golf games, even those released for the Gameboy Color, featured several more courses. Once the player learns where to hit the ball on each hole the game becomes very repetitive and easy.

The graphics are presented from a trailing view of the golfer in play. What immediately struck me was the absence of any features such as trees or shrubs. The game appears to be one grassy plain and this renders the experience very inaccurate to a true golfing simulation. The animations, however, are quite good and very smooth in the swinging motion. The soundtrack is limited as far as sports titles are and only features simple "bop" noises when a club makes contact with the ball and some "patting" sounds as it rolls through the grass of the fairway.

Overall, PGA Tour Golf is not a game I would recommend to prospective buyers. It seems to be a bare bones presentation in that it only offers the player one course and is absent of any landscaping to render the title accurate to a true game of golf.
