Get ready to.... fall asleep. (WWF Road To Wrestlemania (GBA))
Member Name: CaptainD
Advantages: Nice graphics and sound FX, lots of options... Disadvantages: ... boring, boring, boring... and did I mention BORING?...
WWF Road to Wrestlemania for the Game Boy Advance is a game I suspect only real fans of this highly theatrical form of wrestling will enjoy. It features all the stars of the game – characters who apparently go by names such as “The Rock”, “Cold Stone Steve Austin” (or something like that) prance around the ring in shiny outfits, occasionally throwing each other over their shoulders. You might think from that description that I’m not a fan of WWF – and you’d be right. But that didn’t necessarily mean I wouldn’t enjoy the game, I remember a wrestling game on the old NES that was quite fun. Sadly, that clunky old 8-bit game beats its flashy 32-bit successor hands down. Summary: Maybe if you're a WWF fan you'd find this more amusing than I did... but even then I doubt it. AVOID |
