I grew up playing games on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), most of my favourite games when I was younger included my favourite plumbers Mario and Luigi and their dinosaur friend Yoshi, and of course Princess Peach, who always seems to be running into bad luck and getting captured by the villain in this game King Bowser. Yoshi's Island is the next stop in my retro tour of classic Game Boy Advance games. The original Yoshi's Island, a sequel to Super Mario Land, was a smash hit on the SNES. In 1995 towards the end days of the SNES, Nintendo released its final 2D platform game before branching off into the world of 3D with Mario 64. Super Mario Advance 3 is a platforming game for the Gameboy Advance. This game is actually Yoshis Island and follows the story of Yoshi as he helps Baby Mario be re united with his brother Baby Luigi who is trapped in the evil wizard Kameks castle.
