The prequel to Super Mario World. Many gamers were turned off by the crying of the baby mario but however, the gamers who would actually took the risk of buying this game found out that this game was very challenging if you searched for all the secret goods. Also, the game came out very late in the SNES’s life. Now five years later, Nintendo has released the game on the Game Boy Advance and this version lives up to the original and it adds the infamous Mario Bros. Arcade game and six brand new levels. a big bird , stork, begun the game whenever it delivered baby mario to luigi and mario. (strange that there's no mrs. mario, but anyway). i'm letting you in on a hint here, In order to unlock the mysterious secret hidden levels this is a game where you must collect twenty different red coins, thirty stars and five flowers in each level first. Mario rides on Yoshi’s back throughout the game --however, when an enemy intercepts Yoshi, Mario floats away in a bubblen and you must jump into it to retrieve him all with in ten seconds. acountdown timer appears on the screen.

Yoshi is quite a good little warrior all in all, his tongue comes in quite handy whenever he can digest enemies by licking them with his tongue to make them into eggs. Then Yoshi can use the eggs and fire them back at the enemies. Yoshi can jump pound any enemy and find hidden coins under poles, watermelons seeds also come in handy as youll find out later on in the game. there are also mini-game type games. For example, Yoshi can transform to a helicopter, a car, a submarine that shoots missiles, a train, and a digger vehicle. the graphics are not the best i have ever seen but are not bad as it is only 16bit colour.

The game has 80 levels, try to complete it with a perfect score of 100% and be rewarded this will take ages. try to live with the very annoying crying baby .
