"Alfred's Adventure" is perhaps one of the most quirky, odd and fun games I have played on the Gameboy console. It is also one of the most graphically detailed and well animated games, too. Players of this game control a red chicken named "Alfred". The controls of this game immediately confused me slightly as I was not sure how to deal with the variety of whimsical enemies, such as the wind up mouse. Both the "A" and "B" button force Alfred to jump which is unusual for a "platform" genre game as usually there is one unique button set to repel enemies.
