"Armorines" is a difficult game to group genre wise; It offers elements from action, adventure and miscellaneous "shoot 'em up" titles while bundling it into one acceptable package. The plot of this title centres around an alien invasion and a "battle suit" being developed to counter this invasion; it all seems rather ordinary in terms of a science-fiction thriller. The Game Boy Color version of Armorines: Project S.W.A.R.M. is an overhead shooting game developed by Neon Software. VISUAL Once in a while enemies can be seen to blink out of place but outside of that the animation is alright, if nothing special. Enemies appear of a certain shade of colour which makes them distinguishable but the same technique is also applied to the Armorine whom you control as well as bosses so they fail to stand out. There was one section where I was seemingly lost, as I struggled to identify some stairs - such is the way objects are grouped for colouring in this game.
