"Carmageddon" is an unusual driving game released to the Gameboy Color console. It's storyline revolves around driving in a post-apocalyptic world where zombies and other supernatural beings roam the streets freely. "Carmageddon" appears, at first glance, to be a racing game but bears elements from other action titles. Carmaggedon on the PC and other platform was a high-octane zombie splattering fore fest. You were put behind the wheel of a variety of different vehicles in a post-apocalyptic world where zombies roam the streets. Your task was to complete the course, whilst splattering zombies behineath your tyres - a feat which was portrayed in full gruesome detail. It would obviously have taken a genius to translate this to the Gmeboy and unfortunately no one looked very hard to find one. Carmaggedon on the Gameboy is quite simply rather naff. Did any one who owns a color gameboy spend £60 to play really, really crap games.............. if so Carmageddon is just the game for you!! 25 quid 25 quid you say for the biggest load of poo on this god forsaken Earth!! Carmageddon is bad and I mean bad........... if you have ever been constipated you will know how bad this is game ! Very dodgey graphics, bad handling and there is too much else to write. The P.C version was brill but then out came the N64 version a certin magazine (N64 MAGAZINE the very best one) gave it an amazining 8% out of a hundred. its surprisingly fun even though its not real, and you dont actually get to mow down innocent zombies, cus thats soooooooo cool! i like nothing more on a cold night to get in my sh*t your pants fast car with spikes on top and go and race other maniacs and run over zombies! the graphics are really pushing the game boy color to its limits and beyond. and for this, i salute the creators! (this is the part where i salute). if you win a race, you get money to buy more stuff for your car, like bigger spikes and faster engines. i like this game because its addictive and easy to play. obviously not as good as the pc version but still worth ...
