"Commander Keen" is a long standing series of video games released in the early 1990s. This title has been quoted by creator Tom Hall as "not being canon" in comparison with the other Commander Keen games. I'm not sure why this is at immediate glance, as the Gameboy Color title appears to have retained all of Keen's original computer traits. The player controls "Commander Keen"; an enthusiastic young man on a quest to save the world from intergalactic evil. commandeer keen was apogee's first outing before wolfenstein but the way it is you would say it was after it. Commandeer Keen's last outing was nine years ago and at the end of Keen5 a promise was made for keen7. But that project was never completed, as the developers came up with wolfentein. Now Keen is back with a brand new adventure, but with the original developer not at apogee anymore, will it be the same? With the first screenshots released, we see that keen has a changed image with different tops and a different attitude, will this game live up to the keen legend? Only time shall see.
