"F-1 World Grand Prix" is a racing game released to the Gameboy Color console. In it, players choose from a wide selection of professional "Formula One" drivers and compete on various worldly circuits. There does not appear to be any storyline following this title. It is simply a matter of competing the course in the fastest possible time and best position. Gameplay is that of a standard racing title. The camera view used is "trailing" in view, so players will be viewing their car from the rear and looking past it to follow the race course. Please note that my review and rating does not take into account the multiplayer aspect of this game. Given the attention to detail of the motorsport you can be prepared to throw realism out of the window when it comes to Formula One games for the earlier handheld consoles. However, F-1 World Grand Prix, based on the N64 version of the game*, does not lack ambition with its four game modes and battery backup allowing for 3 seperate files to be saved along with the match race records.
