Mario tennis for the game boy colour is a fantastic game one of the best games avaliable for the game boy and that really is saying alot! Ok so it may not be realistic tennis action such as virtual tennis and top spin provides but this gem of a game is still better than both of them. Of course like every sport type game mario stars in you can select many characters from the mario universe and play against either the computer or another human player, there are alot of mario characters to choose from in this game plus others you will unlock along your way. Gameplay maybe pretty basic at times like I said before its not exactly text book tennis gameplay but then ... Read the complete review

After the title screen and short intro you are given the option to choose between 3 different game types:- - Exhibition: chose your character/s singles or doubles number of game per set and then play a short match. -Mario mini games: take on a character and complete two levels. You have a choice of 5 characters (some of which have to be unlocked) and the each character has a mini game. For example choose Donkey Kong and hit the ball against a wall of moving bananas to score points. Once you’ve ... Read the complete review

Plumbers, they're an interesting lot they are. Especially fat plumbers. Even more so, Italian fat plumbers playing tennis. And this is no exception. Camelot come out with another quality game. The first time you play Mario Tennis, the controls seem to be a bit simple. Firstly, only two buttons are used when playing. You press the A or B button, the controls lock into position, and then when the ball is reached, the computer will hit it automatically. Very handy. With the help of the computer, nets, faults and outs rarely occur. This makes Mario Tennis easy to pick and play for people of all abilities. So whether you are after a long session of ...
