Advantages: Good 3d
Disadvantages: Better sound effects?
As you may have guessed, Mystical Ninja is a rather Japanese type game. Basically, this game is weird. The disturbing intro is almost enough to put you off, but not quite. The plot is that aliens in a spaceship come down and kidnap some villages. So anyway, Goeman and Ebisumaru set off to find out what’s happening. It turns out the “aliens” are actually weird “things” called “The Peach Mountain Shoguns” who have come to Earth to steal a Great Stage Plan (don’t ask). Anyway it’s enough for Goeman, Ebisumaru and co. to have to resort saving the world. Characters – There are four separate characters in which you can change to with the press of a button. They are Goeman, Ebisumara, Yae and Sasuke. Apart from weapons there are many bosses and there is also a massive robot named Impact who will help you out at certain stages of the game. Graphically, it’s very impressive. The 3D graphics are very good. Mystical Ninja could be called an RPG, an action RPG or a 3D platformer. That is why it will appeal to lots of people. Overall, this is for N64 owners wanting a Platformer/RPG that is not only massive but also largely enjoyable. Weapons – Each character has four typed of weapons and a magic, you obtain the first weapon from the beginning. The magic’s can make you smaller, give you wings, change you to a mermaid or double your strength depending on your character. All in all, a nice game.
