Advantages: Compact. Huge library of great games. 'Pokemon', need I say more?

Disadvantages: Drains batteries extremely quickly

I'm going to keep this opnion short and sweet. The Game Boy color from Nintendo is the only handheld games system on the market today worth buying. The ten years that the Game Boy line has survived speak volumes about the little systems potential. From it's offset, the Original Game boy system was rather large and chunky and it had an ugly greenish, grey screen which you had to strain your eyes most of the time to see. However they say 'the proof is in the pudding' and this is none more true than of the Game Boy. It offered games which, although they were not graphically advanced like other consoles at the time, were extremely addictive and offered hours of fun. These games included Super Mario Land and later the sequal Marioland 2. Tetris which looks great on my Game Boy Color and which I still play for hours on a daily basis. Zelda: Link's Awakening, which some people say is the best Role Playing Game for any system EVER! And an assortment of other fun packed, addictive games. As the years went by the Game Boy never lost it's appeal like other handhelds such as the Atari 'Lynx' or the mighty Sega 'Gamegear' but instead gained a wider fanbase around the world. Within just 9 years the Gameboy evolved into the miniture Game Boy 'Pocket' and the newest addition, the Game Boy 'Pocket'. The Game Boy now has more dedicated followers than ever with the rise of such games as 'Pokemon' and 'Zelda:DX' and even some larger cosole conversions such as 'Tomb Raider', 'Metal Gear Solid' and even the awesome 'Perfect Dark'. But that's not the end for the Game Boy, not by a longshot for the little gaming legend is now due to evolve again with the dawn of the Game Boy Advance. The new Game boy system will be fully compatable with all of the existing Game Boy library and it will also be able to play games with a power equivalent of that of the Super Nintendo. Can you imagine playing M
ario Kart in the palms of your hands?

This opinion is on the life of the Nintendo Game Boy system. I hope it was as informative as it set out to be!
