Advantages: fun and can carry around

Disadvantages: size of screen

My parents bought me my first game boy when I was eleven, and boy did I like it. Slowly I made them buy me games and all the other accessories that go with it like a genie which you attach at the top and it helps you by giving you hints. I remember it being very handy and when it used to be the last day of term we would be allowed to take it to school and I and the other kids would take them in and play each other games.

We used to travel every week on the train to Liverpool and it used to come in handy, and I remember playing it to ease the boredom of the journey. You could put batteries in it, or use an adopter, which saves you money. I think the game boy was overall very good value, always coming in handy when I needed something to. The little screen took some time to get use to, but over a period of time you got used to it.

Last year my cousin was born so I have given it to her (she may be young but it looks good with her toys!) and I have parted with my game boy, you would be supprised how good condition it is in so they are worth buying as they do last. Now I have my PC I can play games on it but I hope she has as much fun as I have had over the years with it.

It is small so you can take on place for instance on holidays, school trips, and it fits into your pocket.
